2019 All-Star Community Volunteer Program
July 05-10, 2019
Are you passionate about Cleveland and wanting to help welcome guests for one of the biggest sporting events of the year? If so, then we would LOVE to have you join our team of Community Volunteers as we show our warm Cleveland hospitality during the baseball festivities this summer.
Volunteers will play a crucial role in the success of the MLB ASG and summer programming being held in conjunction with the event. We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

Cleveland Baseball Day Volunteers – Monday, July 8th – 1,000 underserved youth will enjoy a free day at MLB All-Star PlayBall Park with added benefit to include a free t-shirt, lunch, giveaway, and access to activities and exhibits throughout the community event. We are looking for volunteers to assist as Hospitality Assistants, Registration Assistants, and Transportation Assistants.

Wayfinders – July 5th-9th – Volunteers will be assigned to a specific area in Downtown Cleveland to assist as guests leave Progressive Field and are searching for restaurants, MLB ASG Playball Park, other Cleveland attractions, and more.

Commissioner's Cup and Jennie Finch Classic Assistants – July 5th-8th – Volunteers will assist at two youth baseball and softball tournaments being held in conjunction with MLB All-Star Week.

Airport Greeters – July 6th-10th – Volunteers will be assigned to staff welcome desks at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and provide directional assistance to visitors in the baggage claim and shuttle transportation loading areas.

Hotel Greeters – July 7th-10th – Volunteers will be stationed at one of the six hotels that have large blocks as part of the MLB All-Star festivities and assist guests throughout their stay.
Volunteers will receive gear and hospitality during their shift(s). For any volunteer part of the Destination Cleveland Volunteer Program, please know that your hours will count towards the program, as long as you list "Destination Cleveland" as your organizaton/affiliation during the registration process.
